Our story

Harbor Light Bar sits on the Newport waterfront — not as a theme, but because the harbor is where we source oysters, where regulars watch storms roll in, and where the bar team tests new drinks at golden hour.

We opened in 2014 with a short menu and a long cocktail list. The kitchen still changes plates nightly based on what landed that morning.

Reservations help us pace the room, but walk-ins are always welcome at the bar. Tell us about allergies early — we would rather adjust a dish than apologize later.
